Ocean Finance extends search campaigns
Ocean Finance is to expand its search marketing trials of Google Mobile and Google Video, devised and managed by search marketing agency Latitude.
Ocean received its first successful loan application within days of the mobile trial's launch in January The finance company's mobile campaign targets internet users using Google on their phones to search for information about secured loans
A mobile user searching for information about loans will find Ocean Finance at the top of Google's search results.
A one-button link then allows users to call Ocean direct via a dedicated telephone number for mobile-originating enquiries.
Latitude is also using its expertise to help Ocean expand its search campaigns into the online video market and Vibrant Media's click space operation IntelliTXT.
Through Ocean Finance's Google Video campaign, potential Ocean customers who use Google Video to search for information on secured loans will be directed to Ocean's television advertisements.
After viewing an ad, the customer will be presented with a one-click link to Ocean Finance's website, where they can fill out an application form.
Latitude and Ocean are also set to make use of IntelliTxt.
When this pioneering campaign goes live, internet users that are reading up on, or researching, financial products and services on the web will be encouraged to visit the Ocean website through unobtrusive links embedded in the text of online articles and web pages.
