Discover Promotions rewards North Face customers

Outdoors clothing and equipment company The North Face is celebrating the launch of its Spring Summer range in Blacks stores with a promotion offering free "green" European flights.

To receive a flight voucher from Discover Promotions, customers must spend GBP150 or more on The North Face products in Blacks stores.

In order that the "great outdoors" can be enjoyed for generations to come, each flight will also have the carbon emissions offset, making this the first "green" national flight promotion.

Each voucher offers the recipient a return flight to a choice of European destinations, including Barcelona, Geneva, Lisbon, Madrid, Paris and Prague.

Sarah Dallard, account manager at Discover Promotions, commented: "We have tailored our standard European flight voucher to include destinations that are perfect for Blacks and The North Face customers to explore".

Keith Byrne, The North Face head of marketing, said: "Our company motto is 'Never Stop Exploring' and we'd like to see our customers living by this ethos so giving away free flights is the perfect incentive to get them jetting off.

"Our Spring collection has the perfect mix for any holiday from travel luggage to lightweight jackets, footwear to UVP shirts - all expedition tested by our team of athletes.

Available at Blacks stores throughout the UK, and promoted by significant press activity and POS, customers will be presented the voucher at the point of purchase.

The promotion runs until 31 March.
