Keepme Promotions opens Keepme China
Promotional merchandise supplier Keepme Promotions is pleased to announce the launch of Keepme Promotions (China) - a dedicated regional office located in Shenzhen, China.
The formation of the new registered company enables Keepme Promotions to pass on a wide range of advantages to its trade customers.
According to Kevin Anderson, managing director, at Keepme Promotions: "There has been a large increase in demand for products sourced from the Far East due to the price savings the region offers.
"However, with this rise in demand there has also been an increase in the number of companies falling foul of the many associated pitfalls".
These possible pitfalls include: compromising on product quality; late fulfilment; payment up front; an array of import and shipping issues; and complex currency calculations in order to save just a few pence on each promotional item.
In an attempt to address these various issues many promotional product providers have implemented their own UK-based 'Far Eastern' experts.
However, Keepme Promotions could see that this on its own was just not enough.
As a result it made the decision to set up its own company based in the heart of the region it was sourcing from - enabling Keepme Promotions to stay in complete control of the process, from initial sourcing to final distribution.
Anderson explained how this came about, outlining some of the advantages it brings: "We recognised the demand for Far Eastern products and reacted to this market requirement by setting up our own China office.
"We now have a permanent, dedicated team of people on the ground out there with extensive local knowledge and in-depth Far Eastern promotional market experience.
"This will bring our customer base a range of benefits as we can now source product locally and directly from manufacturers in China.
"This gives us a huge advantage on price over our competitors.
"In addition, we can now sample products prior to order, ensuring that quality control measures are in place to guarantee our customers a superior product.
"Our China office also enables us to take away the headache of shipping and distribution from our customers, to make sure that their campaigns are handled and distributed on time, every time".
With Keepme Promotions' state-of-the art headquarters in the Thames Gateway in the UK, customers benefit from all the advantages of the dedicated Chinese office, together with the reassurance that UK customer account handling brings.
Anderson concluded: "Our customers have the comfort of dealing with an administrative set up in the UK - where all invoicing and campaign administration is handled - ensuring customers don't have the headache of dealing with an overseas admin interface".
