A delicious new range of soft cheese that uses classic ingredients and real provenance in a fresh and simple way has been launched by ethical food maker Kavli.

The new Primula assortment boasts a trio of temptations, including mouth-watering White Stilton and Apricot This traditional white Stilton, which comes from the Long Clawson Dairy in the Vale of Belvoir, is complemented by the sweetness of succulent pieces of apricot and then crumbled into an indulgent blend of soft cheese and mayonnaise

A wonderful Wensleydale and Cranberry, using real Yorkshire Wensleydale from the Wensleydale Creamery at Hawes and a scrumptious Smoked Salmon and Soft Cheese complete the delectable line-up.

Initially launched in Waitrose stores from October, the new range is perfect for indulgent treats, entertaining and social sharing - a new taste sensation to wow your guests at any occasion, particularly during the festive season.

The fruity White Stilton and Apricot and Wensleydale and Cranberry are delicious scooped on top of a digestive for an instant cheesecake, lavished onto warm toast or simply served with crackers as the perfect end to a meal with friends.

The savoury Smoked Salmon and Soft cheese is just heavenly on a toasted bagel or a warm ciabatta for a weekend brunch, or served as a quick snack with crackers and crudities at anytime.

One of the original 'ethical' companies, Kavli is owned by a charitable trust, The Kavli Foundation, which uses profits from the business to support humanitarian, cultural and research projects, both locally and worldwide.

The Primula brand provides consumers with a strong heritage of quality ingredients, great taste, versatility and convenience, combined with the knowledge that they are helping to support the work of the Kavli Foundation.

The Primula fresh soft cheese range will be available in all Waitrose stores from October and is expected to sell for GBP1.69.
