Award-winning low-cost airline Jet2.com has turned to Jobshop UK to fill recruitment vacancies at its Bournemouth facility.

Jobshop UK has placed both temporary and permanent staff in technical positions at the company's offices located at Bournemouth Airport Part of Dart Group and previously known as Channel Express, Jet2.com, relocated its headquarters from Bournemouth to Leeds last year following the renaming of Channel Express and the expansion of its low-cost airline

However, much of Jet2.com's engineering is still carried out at Bournemouth Airport and the company requires high-quality staff to fill key positions.

"Obtaining the right calibre of staff is an essential element of our success", said Peter Goulding, General Manager Engineering Administration.

"I have known Jayne Harding for many years and when she moved to Jobshop UK as Consultant Temporary Staff, we decided to follow her.

"Jayne and the staff at Jobshop UK have the experience to know what a client really wants; they take time to work with a company in order to understand its aspirations and philosophy so that the candidates they send are always spot on".

In the past few months, Jobshop UK has filled two permanent positions for Jet2.com.

In addition Jobshop UK has supplied temporary staff.

A leading recruitment company in Poole, Jobshop UK believes in traditional interviewing and training techniques at a time when many of the multi-national recruitment agencies are enlisting personnel via questionnaires on their website.

"Our consultants have the experience and ability to identify candidates who have the right qualifications and qualities to meet our clients' specific needs", said Tracey Wood, Director at Jobshop UK.

"As a local agency specialising in office and technical recruitment, we build close, long-term relationships with companies in our catchment area".

Since David Bray and Tracey Wood established Jobshop UK in 1996, it has become a leading local and regional recruitment consultancy.

The agency handles office and technical recruitment in a geographical area that stretches from Weymouth in the West to Fareham in the East.

Jobshop UK is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and has Investors In People accreditation.
