Successful web design and hosting firm Jellifish Internet Services has posted a 100 per cent increase in turnover in one financial year.

Jellifish Internet Services, from Stoke-on-Trent, has announced the outstanding results after filing its 2006-07 accounts, and is aiming for a similar increase for 2007-08 The growth has enabled the firm to take on three new staff to bolster the service it offers to blue-chip clients like Kellogg's, jewellery retailer Astley Clarke, and ceramics manufacturer Moorland Pottery

And Managing Director Amanda Bromley feels the expansion of the workforce, and providing new services, will enable them to add more prestigious clients to their books.

She said: "We have taken on the new staff to maintain our levels of customer service, and look at developing the business further.

"And we hope by offering new services like multimedia campaigns, we can build on the success of the past couple of years".

The Burslem-based firm now has six permanent staff, after the additions of office administrator Tom Deane, trainee web designer Chris Woodcock and sales and marketing consultant Yannick Weiss.

It offers a wide range of services including web design and hosting - particularly e-commerce websites - and marketing expertise to optimise clients' sites and improve their search engine rankings.
