Partnership helps EPOS specialist build
on success
Two Staffordshire companies have joined forces to help bring a successful point-of-sale software program to a wider audience.
Jellifish Internet Services and POSsoft, both based in Stoke-on-Trent, are teaming up to help more retailers synchronise their backroom operations with their e-commerce websites Web design and hosting company Jellifish believes the agreement - the first it has made with another IT company - will allow its existing and future customers manage stock, place orders with several suppliers simultaneously, and keep accounts up-to-date through their website
And it is hoped the collaboration will enable POSsoft to build on the success of its first year of trading - the system is already in use in over 50 independent retailers and Cartridge World franchises around the country.
Jellifish Managing Director Amanda Bromley said: "We are always looking for innovative companies to link up with, and we saw a synergy with the systems POSsoft has created.
"As a result we can provide a more rounded service and help customers stay on top of their administration, meaning they can spend more time developing their business".
It is the first reseller agreement POSsoft has put in place, but it is looking for more partnerships like this in other areas of the UK.
Sales Director David Lyth said: "We are delighted to have secured this agreement with such a well-respected local business as Jellifish, and feel our system fits very nicely alongside its website design and hosting services.
"Retailers will now be able to stay on top of their order processing and stock control, and integrate any business done online with their accounting packages, enabling them to keep their books up to date.
"We are now looking for more resellers around the country to help us build on the success of the last 12 months." The POSsoft Retail Management System is the only software on the market which can integrate all of a retailer's operations at one terminal, allowing business owners to reduce time spent on administration and concentrate on developing their business instead.
