Interactive webcasts at the click of a mouse

An In Situ Productions product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Feb 26, 2008

A new service from In Situ Productions will help users create live webcasts completely free of compatibility issues.

This is because the software platform, developed by In Situ's technology partner Stream57, is Flash-based - making it extremely easy to use and ensuring it will work with any computer or internet browser, anywhere in the world.

The simplicity and reliability of this service make it an ideal tool to record conferences and meetings and to capture the endorsement of key opinion leaders in real time.

People from all over the world can be invited to view these webcasts and interact with the speakers by sending in questions and answering polls and quizzes during the webcast.

The webcasts are automatically archived for viewing afterwards.

Creating the webcasts is a simple and In Situ Productions has an experienced broadcast team available to help clients deliver TV-like events.

Users can also create the webcasts themselves just using a webcam and headset.

In the US in 2007 one major pharmaceutical company used Stream57's software and service to create 3,000 presentations, 2,800 of which were run and created by the speakers themselves.

The accessibility of these webcasts makes products and services known to a much wider audience than ever possible with face-to-face meetings.

The interactivity gives real time feedback to what your audience is thinking.
