IDM event focus on audience engagement strategy

Speakers from the team behind the online success stories of 'X-Factor', 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'Poker Face' will reveal their audience engagement strategies at an IDM networking event on 4 March.

The event is sponsored by Aprimo and will take place in central London.

Andrew Pillar, commercial director at Freemantlemedia's FMX, and consultant Mike Bayler will present 'Online Engagement - Has Your Brand Got the X-Factor?'.

The speakers will share insights into Freemantle's original content initiative and reveal effective content marketing techniques that improve access to the brand, encourage customer involvement and inspire powerful advocacy.

They will discuss: how digital changes the content marketing game; how top-drawer content creates relationship-building opportunities; how production companies are changing entertainment formats to benefit brand sponsors; and the key performance indicators to focus on in the content marketing space.

The event is supported and will be hosted by the IDM Digital Marketing Council, which includes representatives from Glaxosmithkline, AKQA, Nectar, John Lewis Direct, Barclays and Diego among others.
