The lead sponsor for the prestigious IDM Business Performance Awards (BPA) 2008 has been revealed as leading data value management company DQM Group.

The data specialist won two coveted BPA Awards in 2007 for its work with clients Royal Mail and Haymarket Publishing, and the decision to sponsor the 2008 Awards came from common ground shared by both sponsor and organiser.

DQM Group's Managing Director, Adrian Gregory, said: "The IDM BPA Awards have been rewarding marketing excellence for eleven years now and our decision to sponsor the 2008 awards stems from a synergy between our two organisations.

"Like the IDM, the DQM Group is committed to raising best practice standards in direct marketing and, year after year, the Institute's Business Performance Awards is a celebration of the highest discernible standards in our profession".

The IDM BPA Awards 2008 are now officially open for entry.

The scheme comprises the top tier Diamond Award - for the marketing programme judged to have had the most outstanding impact on overall business performance, and up to 12 individual category awards for excellence in the specific disciplines of direct, data and digital marketing.

The IDM is currently inviting entries for the 2008 Awards.

Closing date for entries is 31 March 2008 and the winners will be announced at a London awards ceremony on 12 June.
