IDM presents Special Achievement Award

Hannah Poulton, Senior Marketing Executive with Teachers Provident in Bournemouth, became the first ever IDM graduate to be awarded with the Institute's new Special Achievement Award.

Hannah Poulton has received a luxury holiday for two to Marrakech as her prize.

The new award marked the occasion of the IDM's biggest ever graduation ceremony last Friday, where a record total of 435 marketers were honoured after graduating with a respected IDM qualification.

Poulton not only passed the IDM Diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing with distinction, but was presented with the Special Achievement Award by headline sponsor Acxiom for her tireless and dedicated work ethic.

IDM Diploma tutor Lesley Tadgell-Foster described Poulton as "one of the hardest working students I have ever taught in all my years as an IDM tutor".

It's an ethic which has paid off in a significant upward career move since passing her exams - Poulton has recently accepted a new role as Direct Marketing Manager at leading UK financial services group, Friends Provident.

Receiving their graduation certificates at the packed Royal Geographical Society venue on Friday were graduates from the IDM's entire 2007 qualifications portfolio: the IDM Diploma and Certificate in Direct and Interactive Marketing; the IDM Diploma and Certificate in Digital Marketing; the IDM Certificate in B2B Marketing and the IDM Certificate in Applied Marketing Analytics.
