Web analytics market 'recession-proof'
Intellitracker expects the web analytics market to continue to grow throughout 2009 and believes that the need for such services is, to a certain extent, recession-proof.
The company made reference to E-consultancy's annual web analytics buyer's guide, which revealed that despite ongoing economic uncertainty, the market for web analytics is still expected to grow by 12 per cent this year, reaching a value of GBP78m by the end of 2008.
Intellitracker said organisations are working harder to maximise return on investment, allocate resources efficiently and understand where true value comes from, and suggested that web analytics services, such as its Enterprise R6 system, enable marketers to understand the success or otherwise of their campaigns.
