Illuminas wins BIG best paper award
Jonathan Fletcher, Group Creative Director at Illuminas, has won the award for best written paper at the 2007 BIG conference.
This paper was entitled 'The Convergence of B2B and Consumer Marketing and its Implications for B2B Marketing and Research Practice' The paper explored four main themes
First, it considered the general similarities which already exist between businesses purchase decisions and consumer purchase decisions.
Secondly, the examples of B2B markets that already have a strong consumer purchase dimension to them.
Thirdly, the trends in business and the wider society which the author believes will drive the spread of personal criteria in the business purchase decision into a wide range of markets.
Finally the implications of the convergence between B2B and consumer purchasing for B2B research and marketing.
The awards were given out at the BIG Summer Party on Thursday 19 July at the Komodo Dragon House, London Zoo.
