Savoy Place, home of the IET in London and contender for best view in the capital, will this year open its doors for the first time on New Year's Eve.

Teacher Building, home of the IET in Glasgow, comprises a first class lecture theatre which can accommodate up to 125 delegates offering superb audiovisual technology in a quiet and secluded location right in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow.
In addition it has a superb boardroom which can accommodate up to 70 delegates and a further 10 rooms of varying sizes offering a wide range of flexibility when it comes to meeting room space.
It also has the facility to host exhibitions, product launches and provide fine dining suites to complement any event.
"We are well used by the Scottish IET Membership base but would always welcome more enquiries and after the lecture theatre has been modernised and upgraded in the Summer, we are extremely pleased to welcome our membership to come and have a look around and experience the facilities for themselves", said Justin Liversey, Venue Manager for the Teacher Building.
