ID creates experiential event for Capcom launch

Capcom has selected ID Experiential to create a press event to launch its new title 'Lost Planet 2' on 19 March 2010.

The event, held at the Arches in London Bridge, invited members of the computer game press and selected gamers to be the first to play the title, two months ahead of its UK launch.

The venue was dressed by ID's in-house production team to reflect the dark atmosphere of the game.

Sand bags, wooden pallets, oil drums, breeze blocks and various military paraphernalia were positioned around the venue to enable the guests to fully immerse themselves in the 'Lost Planet 2' environment.

The game's creator, Jun Takeuchi, was flown in from Japan to present at the event and talk the guests through the features of the new release.
