Icon has completed the installation of all internal and external signage for the two corporate centres in London and Warrington and the 20 regional offices of the Homes and Community Agency.

Simon Boulding, project manager at Icon, said: 'At the end of the summer we were asked to undertake a full survey and audit of the agency's offices and flagship sites.

'This involved visits to each site and making a full assessment of the signage requirements: external, reception and internal way-finding for each of the buildings, and current site branding schemes.

'Based on this information we were then able to put together a proposal.

'This was accepted and the sign design and production work commenced in October.

The Homes and Community Agency (HCA) launched on 1 December and all buildings had to be rebranded over the preceding weekend.

Icon arranged for installation teams to visit each site and liaised closely with the HCA to ensure access for this out-of-hours working.

The offices are located across the country including London, Exeter, Gateshead, Warrington and Telford.

The work was the beginning of the first phase of the agency's rebranding programme.

Phase two is the rebranding of many of the 5,000 former Housing Corporation sites and Phase three is new signage for the land currently identified by the old English Partnership signage and English Partnerships managed sites.

Icon is working on the signs for the first 100 flagship Housing Corporation sites and will complete installation of the first land sites signage by the end of January 2009.

Signs for each of the latter are being individually designed to meet each site's requirements.
