Brand and communications agency IAS B2B Marketing has beaten eight other agencies to win the account for the London based Federation of Master Builders (FMB).

The deal is anticipated to be worth GBP500,000 IAS has been tasked with developing a strategic multichannel integrated communications campaign for the FMB, which will initially encompass a complete rebranding exercise

The first wave of communication will focus on increasing membership and awareness of the federation, and reinforcing the strength of its brand in its SME target market by taking a no-nonsense hard-hitting approach against cowboy builders.

Rob Morrice, Managing Director of IAS, commented: "Most so-called sexy ad agencies turn their nose up at the construction sector and get their kicks out of beer and sweeties - but not us.

"We've been the country's leading construction agency since the pyramids were built, so you can imagine that when a blue-chip account like FMB came up for grabs, there's no way we were going to be happy if we didn't win it.

"Our objective for the account is simple - to position the Federation Of Master Builders as the top trade body in the industry with the best range of member benefits: because they are, and they have".

Established in 1973, IAS is a top three B2B brand and communications agency serving the UK and, through its BBN Network, a number of international market-leading clients.

Currently employing some 60 B2B specialists, IAS is based in Bollington, Macclesfield, in south Manchester.

IAS is part of Media Square, a holding company based in London and quoted on the London stock market.
