E-commerce vendor hybris was runner-up at the 2007 European Retail Solutions Awards in the Best Use of Technology in an Emerging Business category for its work with Digital Stores.
Hybris, a leading product information management (PIM) and e-commerce vendor, took runner-up prize in Best Use of Technology in an Emerging Business category at this year's European Retail Solutions Awards 2007.
The company, which was a winner at the awards in 2006, made it through to the final stages of the awards for the innovative way it is helping Digital Stores to expand its online retail business.
Ariel Ludi, CEO of hybris, said: "We are very pleased to have been a finalist in the 2007 European Retail Solutions Awards - our innvovative e-commerce solutions are helping some of the world's leading companies get the most from their online businesses by enabling them to offer greater sophistication and choice for the online purchasing process, as well as reducing the cost and time needed to ensure the clarity and accuracy of information needed for the products and services being offered".
Hybris entered the awards by putting forward one its customers, UK-based Digital Stores, which is emerging as a key player in the online retail business.
Digital Stores has expanded its online retail services business by up to 50% year on year using the hybris e-commerce suite.
The company has been able to do this by expanding its existing white label online retail business as well as moving into wholesale music sales for global companies thanks to the features and functionality provided by the hybris platform.
Hybris supplies standard software solutions for the media-independent management of product information and its distribution over both online and print channels.
