Headland Media, formerly TEAMtalk Broadcast, has signed an agreement with House of Fraser to provide all of its sites with dedicated music channels and individual store-specific messaging.

The Headland Media service was piloted at Belfast and High Wycombe and is due to be introduced to further sites by the end of June 2008, .

Additionally, the company's two new stores at White City and Bristol will also be showcasing the music channel.

Diane Whalley, Head of Business Development at Headland Media, said: "Our service enables retailers to define their brand musically so they can create a perfect ambience to keep customers happy and relaxed, thus keeping the mood high, increasing dwell time and driving sales".

Bespoke channels are a key feature of Headland Media's service as they enable the retailer to ensure that different ambiences are created in different places, through style of music and tempo: House of Fraser was able to use Headland Media's database of fantastic music covering the whole spectrum from brand new releases to classic tracks.

Headland Media will be showcasing its services at the In-Store Show, stand F11, at Earl's Court, 20-22 May 2008.
