Disney picks Haygarth for customer
marketing
Haygarth has been unveiled as the new retained customer marketing agency for Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment UK and Ireland.
The appointment was made following a six-month competitive review of the customer marketing agency contract Haygarth will begin representing WDSHE UK and Ireland from 1 May 2008

The six-strong customer marketing team in WDSHE is responsible for the planning and implementation of innovative marketing activity within the retail environment on behalf of WDSHE new releases and catalogue titles.
This ranges from working with trade customers to maximise in store presence to devising bespoke promotions in store for WDSHE's titles.
The scope of the activity is both below the line and above the line and extends to all of WDSHE's retail and online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Haygarth's appointment will see them getting involved in activity to support DVD releases of blockbuster movies such as Prince Caspian and Wall.e as well as Disney classics such as Sleeping Beauty.
In addition, the team will be instrumental in driving awareness of the next-generation, high-definition DVD format Blu-ray at a crucial and strategic time for the format.
