Gyro to drive NXP multichannel marketing strategy

Gyro International has been appointed by NXP Semiconductors to drive the company's communications strategy as it looks to boost its market presence through targeted sales and marketing efforts.

The appointment highlights the shift NXP has adopted as it fully embraces integrated multichannel marketing.

Gyro will develop creative and strategic platforms for all marketing campaigns allowing integration across all aspects of NXP's business portfolio.

In addition, Gyro will implement a media strategy, including planning and buying media space for all campaigns and will also be responsible for designing individual microsites, online and offline advertising and e-mail marketing to support these campaigns.

Gyro was awarded the work following a pitch process at the beginning of 2008.

The activity will be managed from Gyro's Amsterdam office and delivered across European, US and Asian markets, with a special focus on Greater China.
