Gyro wins creative award at the Roses

A Gyro International product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team May 13, 2008

Gyro International has won Bronze in the Best Business to Business Direct Mail Campaign category at the 2008 Roses Advertising Awards.

The Roses Advertising Awards, held at The Manchester Hilton, celebrate the advertising industry's best creative talent from agencies across the UK, excluding the M25 region.

Art Director Ben Gerrard and Senior Copywriter James Currie picked up the award for their work on the Gringley Gringo Chilli Sauce campaign.

The creative work centres on how powerful the chilli sauce is with images of everyday objects burning and melting in the presence of the Gringley Gringo Chilli sauce.

Warren Gaskell, Creative Director at Gyro, commented: "Winning this award is a demonstration of how far we've come as a creative agency in the past 12 months.

"Gyro is renowned for innovative and high-quality creative work and the Roses Award shows recognition of this.

"We're confident that this is just the beginning of a highly successful year for Gyro".

Danny Turnbull, General Manager, added: "We're competing with some of the biggest players in the field on a national level and coming out on top".

Across the network Gyro has been achieving commendation recently with two Precision Marketing awards won by Gyro's London office in the same week as the Roses.
