Gyro launches standalone digital business
Gyro International has launched Mighty Mouse Digital, a standalone digital business, as part of its growing commitment to provide world-class digital services.
Already the world's largest scientific society, the American Chemical Society, has contracted Gyro to launch a coast-to-coast marketing campaign in the US, following a joint pitch with Cicero.
Gary Brine, Group Chief Executive of Gyro International, commented: "As a result of the integration, Gyro International is now one of the largest marketing networks in Manchester and we will be aggressively competing against the other major marketing networks operating out of the whole of the North West.
"This is just the tip of the growth iceberg - to realise Gyro's full potential we must continue to grow both organically and through acquisitions.
"Therefore we are currently in the process of speaking with a number of other companies both in the UK and internationally".
Danny Turnbull, former Managing Director at Cicero and now Manchester General Manager at Gyro International, commented: "Gyro has an innovative approach to business and importantly Gary Brine implicitly understands that an acquisition isn't simply a case of buying a company and changing the stationery.
"The past six months have been a combination of strategic collaboration and planning to ensure seamless integration for both Cicero's staff and clients as we evolve into the Gyro network".
Gyro acquired Cicero in March 2007 for an undisclosed sum.
