LA Fitness appoints gratterpalm

Health and fitness chain LA Fitness has appointed gratterpalm, the leading independent retail marketing agency, as its below-the-line agency.

The agency will be responsible for all LA Fitness in-gym communications, POS, events, press ads, as well as direct mail and promotional campaigns.

Claire Rowland, Advertising and Promotions Manager at LA Fitness, said: "Gratterpalm has demonstrated its commitment to the highest levels of client service as well convincing us of their ability to deliver.

"It is important that our brand communications work together in all media channels - gratterpalm has that expertise and will also bring fresh new ideas into the overall marketing mix".

Gratterpalm has been briefed to work alongside incumbent above-the-line agency Kitkatt Nohr Alexander Shaw.

"Across the UK, there are 87 clubs, with almost a quarter of a million members.
