Greenlight commended at NMA
Effectiveness Awards
Leading search engine marketing (SEM) agency Greenlight has been commended at the prestigious new media awards ceremony - The NMA Effectiveness Awards.
The commended campaign, named The Most Visible UK Airline in Natural Search Results, received the accolade for exceeding all campaign targets and delivering an ROI over and above the client's expectations, through search engine optimisation (SEO) The judging panel, which consisted of senior executives from Sky Digital Media, Virgin Atlantic, Bebo and NatWest, agreed that the SEO campaign for Monarch Airlines "was an impressive campaign in both presence and revenue generation from natural search activity"
The high-profile NMA Effectiveness Awards, now in its 10th year, gives recognition to 'a company's understanding of new media'.
The winners were announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner held on Thursday 28 June, at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.
Andreas Pouros, Managing Director of SEO at Greenlight, explained: "To be commended by the NMA Effectiveness Awards panel is a huge honour; Monarch Airlines have embraced new media and their understanding of the power of search marketing has paid dividends.
"Their forward-thinking approach has enabled them to embrace Greenlight's unique SEO offering and the results for the campaign, which include an ROI of 360:1, were fantastic.
We are continuing to build on this success".
The commendation comes after several recent award nominations and wins for Greenlight which works with many of the world's largest companies to ensure they are implementing the most effective SEM campaigns possible, across both natural and paid search.
Greenlight and Monarch Airlines won a prestigious IDM Business Performance Award at the Institute of Direct Marketing awards ceremony in May.
The campaign was also nominated for a Travolution award in March.
