A Fuse8 product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Nov 17, 2009

LCD TV manufacturer Cello Electronics has appointed integrated digital marketing agency Fuse8 to handle its consumer and trade marketing account.

Fuse8 has already designed and developed a website for Cello, which acts a consumer and media resource while providing the company's customers - which include Marks and Spencer, John Lewis and Sainsbury's - with a secure online product database.

The site has been developed to enable search engine optimisation.

Public relations activity to raise awareness of Cello and its brands has also been undertaken.

This has utilised traditional, social and digital media to promote the company's personal video recorder (PVR) TV that records onto SD cards, instead of a built-in hard drive.

Product seeding of the PVR TV utilised technology blogs and twitter users before securing coverage in print media, including technology magazine Stuff.

Brain Palmer, Cello's owner, said: 'Fuse8 has a demonstrable understanding of the technology sector and is one of the few agencies able to provide a fully integrated service that successfully combines online and traditional marketing disciplines.
