Webmart and Business Link offer free training

Print management firm Webmart and the Government's Business Link programme have teamed up to provide marketers with free training to improve their print knowledge and procurement skills.

The one-day, hands-on workshops are completely free and include a print factory tour.

The course is primarily aimed at marketing executives who manage the procurement of print for their marketing campaigns, including catalogues, direct mail, and other printed collateral.

The first of these courses will be held in Webmart's Bicester office on 10 March 2008, with similar courses to be hosted in the company's East Kilbride and Barnsley offices in due course.

Webmart Managing Director, Simon Biltcliffe, commented: "Irrespective of experience, marketers will benefit from a day with experienced print professionals, and the inclusive philosophy of the workshops will provide an invaluable insight into how the process can be managed more effectively".

He added: "Business Link has provided us with a tested and proven event format, which ensures the high standard of these free workshops".
