Fresh Rewards has entered a partnership with Swimtime UK, the independent provider of swimming lessons, to create a Free Swimming Lesson offer, an ideal incentive for child-related products

This latest incentive from Fresh Rewards gives children between the age of 4 and 12 the opportunity to receive a free swimming lesson from a fully qualified swimming instructor at one of more than 200 participating health clubs throughout the UK Peter Pantelides, Director of Fresh Rewards, said: "Swimming is Britain's most popular sporting activity with over 50% of children going regularly to their local pools

"However, despite this statistic, and the government's pledge to ensure that all children can swim at least 25m unaided at primary school age, a recent survey by the Times Educational Supplement found that one in three primary children leaves school without mastering the most basic of swimming skills.

"It was these statistics that triggered the idea to create a Free Swimming Lesson offer; the basic aim of this lesson is to help children build their confidence and encourage water safety.

"Group classes are held on a weekly basis and involve a warm-up, structured lesson, then a warm-down, which incorporates games to add a fun element to the class; the instructors all work to an agreed set lesson plan so the high standard of teaching is the same throughout the country.

"The beauty of this incentive is that it not only gives children the opportunity to try out a class for free but once they have had their lesson they will be guaranteed a place on the course, if they wish to continue, thereby avoiding any waiting lists.

"This incentive is perfect for child-related products - particularly children's healthy foods such as fun-size fruit and natural drinks - where there is perfect synergy between the incentive and the product.
