Research by Fotorama has revealed that cash-back promotions are fast becoming a preferred promotional mechanic for major brands and agencies.
Cash-back promotions increased their market share from 22 per cent to 25 per cent year-on-year, while coupons - historically the most popular - remained static at 40 per cent.

Further decline was recorded for instant-win promotions, with a share decrease from 24 per cent from June 2009 to 20 per cent by June 2010.
