Fortune Cookie's work with financial services provider Legal and General has been recognised by the British Association of Communicators in Business at the CiB Awards 2007.

The LandG website received two CiB Awards of Excellence: Best Navigation/usability and Best website.

Fortune Cookie's Managing Director, Justin Cooke, said: "These awards from CiB are further evidence that putting the user at the heart of everything results in stunning return on investment through beautiful, accessible design.

Within the site it is impossible to get lost (even with a determined effort) as there are just too many clues as to where you are and where you can go.

The judges' appraisal for Best navigation/usability said: "It is very pleasing to see clear ROI figures to demonstrate that improving usability and accessibility will bring financial rewards".

The LandG site has already won a Shaw Trust accreditation and is in the process of securing the RNIB 'See it Right and AbilityNet UseAbility' accreditations.

Fortune Cookie redesigned LandG's website, making it fully accessible to the UK's 8 million disabled people.

As a direct result of the redesign, conversion rates increased by 300% in just 12 months; natural search engine listings improved by 50%; and site maintenance costs decreased by 66%.

The new design delivered 100% return on investment in just 12 months.
