Fotolia has announced a call for high-quality, user-generated video submissions in preparation for the launch of its stock video offering.
The launch will supplement its current library by licensing royalty-free video clips at microstock prices.
The company is looking for a variety of content submissions - from animation and stop motion to digital film and traditional video.
Submissions should be 320 x 240 to 1,920 x 1,080; 24-30 frames per second; and 5-60 seconds long.
Beginning in mid-February, Fotolia will begin licensing broadcast-quality footage, in a variety of digital formats, including HD video.
