New website makes life easier for businesses

A new business website aimed at simplifying the task of finding networking events has just been launched.

The site, findnetworkingevents.com, allows networkers to easily find information about networking events, workshops and seminars in their local area.

Site creator Stuart Russell is a business coach and web developer who works from his home in the Scottish Borders.

He said: "When I started going to networking events to promote my business coaching, I realised that there was no single source for finding out about events in my area.

"It seemed the obvious choice to use my own skills to solve the problem".

Find Networking Events is a clear, simple-to-use website allowing networkers to search by town or region.

Event organisers may also upload video of their events to the site giving networkers the chance to see for themselves what goes on at the event beforehand.

Russell said: "There has been a huge growth in the numbers and types of networking events over the past few years; I believe this site will make it easier for business owners to make a more informed decision about where to spend their valuable time and money".

The site is free to use and currently offers a six-month free trial to organisations who want to list their events.

Stuart Russell is a business coach who works mainly with small businesses working from home.
