FHD develops brand expression for
Invensys

Design company FHD has developed a new brand expression for Invensys, which is unveiled this week in the company's 2007 annual report.

Over the past three years, FHD has developed Invensys' annual reports from simple, factual explanations of the company's business and financial progress to a more visionary look to the future The 2007 report is designed to reflect the organisation's turnaround, to becoming a sound, long-term, high-tech growth company at the heart of production processes around the world

The new brand positioning is encompassed in the phrase 'Imagine what we can achieve' - and brought to life in a series of staff character portraits taken around the world.

To create the report, FHD commissioned six photographers through agency Eyevine to capture images of Invensys employees around the world.

The images reflect the importance of the company's human and intellectual capital in driving future success.

Steve Devany at Invensys said: "Internally we have been developing a much more people focused vision for the organisation; sharing this with our external stakeholders was critical, and the annual report provided an important opportunity for achieving this.

"FHD has shown great insight into the organisation, encapsulating our new identity with a radical - and convincing - new look".

Chris North, FHD chairman, said: "Over the past three years we have seen Invensys change dramatically - following a period of consolidation it was clear this year that the company had a positive story to tell and we were determined that the report reflected this.

"Opportunities in growing markets and its expertise in technology are important elements of this story but the overriding factor in determining its success is its people; it was natural that this is the theme which underpins the new visual expression of the brand.".
