EMS launches smoking cessation roadshow

Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has launched a New Year stop smoking campaign for Barking and Dagenham Community Health Services.

The four-week 'Stop Smoking, Start Living' roadshow will deliver information, health tests and advice directly into the heart of key community meeting places including shopping centres and markets.

The touring campaign will be delivered onboard a colourful, branded mobile information unit, designed and supplied by EMS.

The company has also provided an experienced health promotion staff member to drive footfall to the vehicle.

People visiting the unit will be offered a lung age test, as well as blood pressure and body mass index testing to support improvements in their general health.

The campaign has been timed to capitalise on the New Year period - the most popular time of the year for people to resolve to stop smoking.
