Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has been appointed to a two-year contract with Tenovus, providing ongoing management and development of the cancer charity's specialist mobile chemotherapy unit.
Having worked with Tenovus to develop the vehicle, which takes cancer treatment, support and advice to the communities in south Wales, EMS has now been commissioned to extend the initiative so its facilities can reach more patients.
The contract means the Tenovus mobile unit will be on the road 52 weeks of the year, visiting new areas as part of an extended schedule.
The 13.6m Tenovus mobile unit provides the space to treat four chemotherapy patients and also features a private consultation room and reception area.
