EMS to deliver ICT schools roadshow

Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has been commissioned by ICT to deliver an extended schools roadshow for 2009.

Launched on 2 March and running for nine weeks, the 2009 RM ICT Tour will take the company's latest hardware and software products directly to its customers - providing a convenient and time-efficient way of finding out about new developments.

The tour will visit 36 venues, compared to 24 in 2008, and will offer extended opening hours - enabling teachers and pupils to visit either during the day or after lessons.

EMS has carefully researched the venues - predominantly schools and colleges - to ensure maximum visitor numbers from across a wide local area.

EMS has created a colourful and hi-tech mobile showroom to host the tour - designed to encourage hands-on product trial and informal discussion.

The 11m unit includes an interactive technology wall - in effect, a hub where visitors can try out the latest laptops, PCs and software - and a 42in plasma screen, which will show product-demonstration videos.

The RM ICT tour launched at the company's Oxfordshire headquarters on 2 March concludes on 13 May in Middlesbrough.
