E-Village adds social media capabilities to Clang

An E-Village product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Aug 16, 2010

E-Village has added new social media capabilities to its customer relationship management (CRM)-focused e-mail marketing platform Clang.

In addition to the existing web and SMS capabilities, Clang v1.2.3 integrates links to Facebook and Twitter to make it easy for e-mail recipients to share content with friends and followers.

Features in Clang v1.2.3 include an automatically generated screenshot for Facebook and a shortened URL for Twitter.

Campaign statistics will show the effectiveness of the e-mail newsletter by clearly presenting what recipients have shared through social media, how many have done so, and whose followers and friends have clicked through to that specific piece of content.
