The Events Industry Alliance (EIA) has decided to make a dramatic cut in the price of its 'how to exhibit' DVD/e-learning products to make them accessible to a wider audience.

One of EIA's strategic aims is to increase the level of expertise in event marketing among customers and this move is designed to help deliver this strategic objective to greater audiences The price will drop from £895 to £99 or lower depending on the quantity bought

EIA Group CEO Trevor Foley said: "The price point has been an objection and it is more important that we are able to educate relevant audiences to use our medium to maximum effect.

"Sales of the DVD/e-learning have been steady but we want to reach far greater numbers of users.

"Today's consumers have become used to buying cheaper DVDs and this price cut reflects consumer expectations.

"The DVD/e-learning products will be available separately for the first time in recognition of the fact that we have had several requests for multi-user licenses of the e-learning product.

"The e-learning product will now also be available on CD-ROM rather than online.

"With the price drop comes the option for members of AEC, AEO and AEV to be able to buy individual/bulk copies for passing on to customers.

"Alternatively members will be able to provide access to their exhibitors/prospects to buy either or both products directly from EIA".
