The team of mentors currently includes (in alphabetical order) Alistair Ramsay, Brian Wiseman, Chris Hughes, Hugh Scrimgeour, Keith Greetham, Philip Soar, Sandy Angus, Simon Kimble, Stephen Brooks and Tim Etchells.
Mentors can be hired on one-off, ad-hoc or regular basis to help formulate strategic business plans, act as a sounding board, review financial performance or to get involved in the organisation's business at a variety of levels.
Trevor Foley, EIA Group Chief Executive, commented: "I have performed this connecting function on an informal basis for a number of years and now is a good time with a good reason for formalising it; creating this scheme makes the opportunity more widely known for all members to benefit from".
A summary of the team of mentors' CVs with further details is available on the EIA website.
A small percentage of the mentors' fees will go directly to EIA for administering the service - monies that will be directly allocated to the promotion of the events industry.
