Callcredit builds sales data pool for SSE

Callcredit Marketing Solutions has been chosen by Scottish and Southern Energy to build a single view of its customers and prospects into a sales and marketing data pool for new customer recruitment.

The database will combine a subset of current customers and Callcredit Marketing Solutions' Core prospect universe, providing access to all UK households available for Scottish and Southern Energy to target.

It will support ongoing campaigns via direct mail and telesales targeting around one million contacts a month.

Primary campaigns will focus on the acquisition of new Home Services business.

This includes the provision of gas central heating and boiler cover, electrical wiring protection and the installation of electrics and central heating systems.

Scottish and Southern Energy will produce campaign selections and extracts in-house using the online front-end tool Discoverer.

As part of the service, Callcredit Marketing Solutions will update the database monthly, cleansing new data feeds as they are loaded.

As well as adding telephone numbers, the Cameo Classifications for increased insight and Callscreen+ for credit pre-screening purposes, Callcredit Marketing Solutions will also incorporate a number of SSE models into the database including the Gas Connection Availability Model and Home Services Availability Model.
