E-Scratchoff platform captures customer data
McDonalds Australia has captured online information from 1.4 million customers in six weeks using a rewards-based promotion platform developed by London-based E-Scratchoff Services.
The promotion was designed and managed by Adrenalin Marketing Solutions - the Australasia reseller for E-Scratchoff - and Creata.
It allowed McDonalds to offer customers the weekly chance to win a Honda SUV or 24 prizes of petrol daily, via an online interface built around the E-Scratchoff technology.
To enter the competition, customers were asked to enter their 'unique code' taken from their receipt into a database.
This gave quality metrics to manage campaign success and client information to McDonalds.
Through the secure rewards-based platform, McDonalds was able to capture accurate client information and gain demographic metrics to support the value of its campaign.
