Digital poster offers touch-screen capabilities

Esprit Digital has launched the Wafer, an ultra-thin, large-format, double-sided digital poster that can offer touch-screen capabilities and is ideal for advertising and way-finding applications.

The Wafer stands more than 2m high and is 75mm (3in) thick.

Inside the unit is heat management technology that gives it low power consumption, using less than 300W - less than a third of a standard double-sided unit.

It also comes encased in a vandal-proof stainless steel enclosure to maximise longevity and durability, and high-definition content can be uploaded remotely.

James Brenner, operations director at Esprit, said: 'The Wafer can be installed in many different ways.

'If customers want a slim-line screen handing from a ceiling, an interactive pod in a shopping centre or even double-sided adverts along an airport walkway, then this system can be adapted to fit,' he added.
