Equifax launches Single Customer View solution

An Equifax product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Jul 6, 2010

Equifax has launched its Single Customer View (SCV) solution designed to provide better capabilities for marketers to manage and exploit customer relationships.

SCV is also said to help businesses meet the latest financial services regulations on single customer view.

The Equifax SCV solution uses the companies name and address histories data to provide accuracy and confidence in forming a single customer view.

This will enhance customer retention and cross-selling opportunities and will reduce unnecessary costs for marketers unknowingly sending mailings to incorrect names or addresses.

Equifax said its SCV has already achieved a 20 per cent condensation rate in customer records for one major banking group, empowering overall marketing budget by identifying cross-sell opportunities and reducing direct customer management volumes.

Equifax's SCV solutions are underpinned by an exclusive evidence-based system, which has been created by the Equifax Predictive Sciences team.

Organisations supply a file of names and addresses and Equifax returns it with a Unique Reference Number (URN) appended to each customer record.

This process is particularly useful when a customer's accounts are held at different addresses and may have used different versions of their name.
