Equifax develops email append service

An Equifax product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Nov 10, 2009

Equifax has developed an email append service, called Econnectappend, which offers accurate and verified email addresses to append to a client's customer portfolio.

It also ensures that each customer has the opportunity to opt out of receiving email communications.

The driving focus of Econnectappend is to provide an accurate and up-to-date database of more than 15 million email addresses that can be matched against and appended to an organisation's own customer database.

Econnectappend typically matches five per cent to 10 per cent of an organisation's customer file to current email addresses, providing a new email marketing tool while complying with e-mail permission regulations.

The company's Econnectappend service has been designed to meet both client and regulatory requirements, offering consumers two opportunities and up to 14 days to opt out of further email communication.

The email sender's identification is clearly displayed to the customer and a full audit trail is available for the email delivery process.
