Enable Interactive to rebuild War Child Music

A Enable Interactive product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Jan 18, 2008

Bristol-based digital agency Enable Interactive has been awarded the contract to revitalise the War Child Music site.

Part of War Child, the charity that works with children from war-torn countries, War Child Music is a strong brand within the music industry reaching vast, often youthful, audiences and donating all profits to the cause.

"War Child is an inspirational client, not just because of what they do but also how they communicate it", commented Darius Pocha, Creative Director Enable Interactive.

"With the War Child Music site we'll be using digital to build on the incredible connection they already have with their existing audience and helping that audience spread the word to their friends, families and peers".

The main aims for War Child Music are to continue to engage music fans with War Child's cause and encourage involvement from younger audiences, increase download sales and ultimately make War Child the charity of choice for music fans and the music industry alike.

"Enable is in a perfect position to help us achieve this", said Will Lord, Online Campaigns Manager, War Child.

"They really understand the market and are genuinely passionate about what War Child Music has to offer.

"Their creativity and innovation made the relaunch of warchild.org.uk a huge success and we're really excited about working with them again on this project".

Enable faces a number or challenges with the project - it will need to bring War Child Music content to life, build a community of music fans, and position War Child as a destination for the music industry making it a brand that visitors relate to and want to buy from.

Enable will also need to create a site that reflects War Child's passion for music through a creative that is fresh and edgy yet at the same time offers rich and valuable content which will engage users and bring them closer to War Child Music - ultimately making War Child Music a recognisable and powerful online brand.

The project is a great fit for Enable not only because of the strength of the agency's strategic, creative and technical work, which has led to the agency being voted the UK's No1 digital agency, but also because many of the Enable team are involved in the music industry on a professional level thus bringing to War Child the benefit of their knowledge and passion for the music industry.

Warchildmusic.com will go live in Spring 2008.
