Enable Interactive - the different digital agency

An Enable Interactive product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Jan 17, 2008

Enable Interactive, the specialist digital agency based in Bristol, has consistently developed and delivered bright, digital ideas for an impressive set of clients since the company was set up.

The 11-strong best of breed team at digital agency Enable, which was set up by Matt Connolly and Darius Pocha back in 2003, have produced great work for big brands like WWF, Clarks, Microsoft and Channel 4 as well as pioneering work convincing mainstream consumers to switch to ethical brands like Percol Fairtrade coffee and Ecotricity.

Traditionally, agencies try to extract maximum value from their people by working them hard, expecting long hours and total commitment, but Enable likes to think differently about that too.

"People who have nothing in their lives but working for an agency quickly become one-dimensional; one-dimensional people don't have great ideas and ideas are the lifeblood of any agency", said Darius Pocha, Creative Director, Enable.

"At Enable we recruit talented, multifaceted people who do interesting things outside their day jobs.

"It's partly the new perspectives that people with varied interests bring that makes us attractive to our clients".

And thinking differently has allowed Enable to develop into an agency that has a strong set of values and one that is prepared to challenge the way that clients traditionally think about their brands and how they market them.

And with digital moving to the centre of the marketing mix, Enable knows that it is in a strong position to help brand owners think differently too.

"Consumer behaviour is changing, therefore the way our clients communicate to their customers must change too - we have a clear insight into why these changes are taking place and how we need to relate to customers across the digital channel", said Matt Connolly, Director of Strategy.

"Not many other agencies have taken this on board or have understood the opportunities that changing culture and technology bring, or the threats that come with ignoring them".
