Emarsys E-mail Benchmark Report reveals new trends

Emarsys has published its 2010 E-mail Benchmark Report, revealing new trends in e-mail marketing.

The report, which is in its eighth consecutive year, analyses the e-mail response data from 1 January to 31 December 2009.

This year, the comprehensive analysis of the response data was supplemented with insight into the language differences and their connection with the campaign results.

To produce the report, Emarsys evaluated more than 30,000 e-mail campaigns of more than 500 company clients, both from the business and consumer sectors.

The data, assessed from the point of view of regional, linguistic and category differences revealed a number of trends, such as the increase in click rates in the consumer sector and a decrease in unsubscribe rate in both consumer and business sectors.
