The Greater London Authority (GLA) has appointed moderation and community management company Emoderation to moderate the first online State of London debate.

The debate will take place on 24 June 2010 between 18:00 and 20:30 and can be viewed live on the GLA website.

Users can submit questions during the event via Twitter.

Radio station LBC 97.3 FM will also be offering a schedule of programmes including phone-in sessions and the opportunity to meet and question the mayor Boris Johnson in person.

In the run up to the event Londoners can use the official forums to voice their opinions and put questions to the mayor and senior members of his administration under the four topics of Environment, Transport, Economy and Policing.

The forum is hosted and moderated by Emoderation, which will also be choosing and transcribing pertinent comments from the user-generated video site Winkball, which has posted videos from Londoners discussing this year's issues.
