Emailcenter offers e-mail-a-friend viral solution
Emailcenter has enhanced its viral marketing offering with the release of its 'e-mail-a-friend' solution.
The tool is designed to enhance the viral spread by integrating with a recipient's webmail address book, in a similar way to social networking websites.
Nigel Williams, managing director of Emailcenter, said: 'Existing attempts by marketers to encourage customers to forward e-mails on to their friends require the customer to manually enter their friends' e-mail addresses.
'This restricts how many friends they will send it to.' Emailcenter added that each stage of the viral process is tracked to gauge the overall campaign success along with automating the fulfilment of incentives that have been offered to encourage the viral spread.
The tool can be hosted on the client's website for all visitors to utilise, not just existing e-mail subscribers.
All branding and messaging is configurable to the clients' requirements and fully compliant with EU data protection laws.
