Flowers Direct joins ipoints loyalty scheme

Flowers Direct has linked up with ipoints.co.uk as an exclusive loyalty partner in order to boost customer acquisition and retention.

Under the scheme, Flowers Direct customers will be able to earn 10 points for every ?1 they spend, which can be redeemed on the ipoints website for a variety of products and services including CDs, DVDs, books and flights.

Maximiles will drive new customers to Flowers Direct from its community of online shoppers and help increase basket size and shopping frequency via its ipoints currency system.

Updates on Flowers Direct products will also be available to customers through email newsletters.

Ian Rawlins, managing director at Flowers Direct, said: 'Becoming a partner will help us differentiate ourselves in the competitive marketplace we operate in.' Robert Barker, chief operating officer at Maximiles, added: 'We are looking forward to providing Flowers Direct customers with a variety of rewards and communicating their offering to our database of highly active online shoppers.'.
